Long Islands Used Car Market Trends

 

Current trends in the market along with recent legislation in New York are driving the price of used cars to record highs. Gone are the days of used car dealers offering a wide range of used cars under 5000$. Analyst for the used car market predict 2020 to continue to be a strong year for sales. With used car sales rising and the access to quality wholesale units decreasing the retail market pricing is trending upwards.

 

Many towns within Suffolk and Nassau county, including Bay Shore, Brentwood,  Islip, Babylon, Deer Park, Commack, Kings Park, Hempstead, Hicksville, Massapequa, Bellmore, Wantagh, Freeport, Baldwin, Bethpage, Plainview, are experiencing a boom in the used car industry. Recent legislation now allows any resident in New York to apply for a license. While many are upset about this current political issue, it has created a surge in used car sales on Long Island. An overwhelming amount of new drivers are searching for used cars under $5000.
